COVID-19 GUIDELINES
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, we currently offer tele-medicine (telephone or video) appointments during the pandemic. We require tele-medicine appointments if you or your household contacts have cold/flu symptoms, such as a cough, fever, and sore throat. You can make a tele-medicine appointment at our "Appointment" page.
For in-person appointments: to minimize risk of contracting COVID-19, 1). a face mask is required, 2). no cold/flu symptoms 3). no pets, food or drinks, and 4). only one family member will be allowed to accompany a patient. We will take patients’ temperature at check-in. We may also ask patients to wait in the car if the waiting area is too crowded for social distancing. All surfaces will be decontaminated between patients and hand sanitizer will be available.
ABOUT DR. THANG NGUYEN
Dr. Nguyen has been practicing for over eighteen years. He is a thorough, detail-oriented primary care and family physician treating both adult and pediatric patients. His approach to treatment emphasizes patient education about disease processes and general health and well being. He holds certification from the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Nguyen obtained his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After his undergraduate program, Dr. Nguyen pursued his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, School of Medicine and graduated with his Doctorate of Medicine. He continued his medical education at the University of California, San Francisco where he received his residency training in the Family and Community Medicine Program.
Patients visiting Dr. Nguyen can receive a full range of medical services. He provides annual physicals, general medical consultations, as well as treatment for specific illnesses and issues.
